What did Hamas hope to achieve with the unprovoked murderous incursion into Israel, massacring helpless men, women, children, babies, the elderly; and taking hostages?

Did they hope to bring down Israel?

Did the Hamas terrorists really care for the ordinary Palestinians?

Or they cared only for themselves, the spawn and tool of Iran to finish off Israel?

Embedded among the Palestinians; even operating from elaborate tunnels underneath or adjacent to places of worship, hospitals, schools and refugee centers, knowing that when Israel hit the people will suffer.

Did Hamas hope to gain sympathy from the deaths and suffering of the ordinary Palestinians?

And calling out Israel for the crime, if it be called it, a crime themselves engendered and carried out in the first place?

The sad thing about it all is that the Muslim world, and some, stood by Hamas for their their murderous acts of Oct 7 that have wrought deaths and suffering to the ordinary Palestinians themselves.

Instead of first calling out the Hamas terrorists for their murderous stupidity and for a permanent two state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli imbroglio, minus Hamas in the equation.
