The Malaysian Parliament is better described as a zoo instead of an august house.
The only august thing about it is the expensive furniture.
A lot of the blame must be laid on the shoulders of the Speaker and his deputies.
They often let parliament sessions turn into a circus with the baboons voted in, unfortunately, by the people to be their 'august' representatives, by being lenient.
Losing control of parliamentary sessions with the baboons constantly yelling at each other and jumping up and down like agitated simians on heat.
Contrast that with Singapore's parliamentary sessions, MPs orderly and respectful of each other even if they don't agree with each other.
Don't think anything will change for the better here though.
Precious time and resources go to waste.
The Baboons reign!
