Should the judge sitting then as the court of first instance who had convicted former Pm Najib for corruption be investigated based on an allegation of a fugitive blogger hiding away in England?
So do most Malaysians, especially since Najib's final appeal against his conviction for corruption is still pending at the Federal Court.
Any move, therefore, to investigate the judge, now a Court of Appeal judge, while Najib's Federal Court appeal is still pending, would be perceived as an attempt at intimidation of and interference with the administration of justice and the independence of the judiciary.
No?
Shouldn't, instead, the Malaysian anti-corruption agency, or the police themselves, investigate the fugitive blogger in the first place, to determine the veracity of his allegation against the judge?
