Aiyaaa....Sure Or Not It Isn't Right To Punish Parents For Their Children's Basikal Lajak Misadventures?

All this talk about child care negligence and Child Care Act and parents' negligence punishable by law is just futile if when it comes to basikal-basikal lajak (heavily modified bicycles) we just brush all that aside by saying parents should not be held liable for their children's action.

Sure or not parents don't know their children are kaki basikal lajak and since the children only sneak out in the wee hours of the morning when their parents are nicely tucked in, sleeping and snoring in bed, the latter won't know what their child or children are up to?

The parents aren't aware of the basikal-basikal lajak in their homes?

The children hide those offending vehicles so well out of sight, parents no have idea of  their presence?

Well, how did the kids pay for the expensive modifications to the bicycles in first place?

Especially when these children are in their early teens not earning their keep.

Some kind philanthropist sponsored the costs of the modifications out of a sense of  social guilt and told the kids to stow away the offending articles?

Maybe, maybe.

We never know, do we?

Hehehe😃😃😃

So yes, parents should NOT be held liable.

It's all society fault.

But, but....are parents not part of society?

That said, shouldn't the authorities be held liable too for failing to clamp down on illegal basikal-basikal lajak on the roads.

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
