A Casual, Idle Line Conversation Between A Friend And Yours Truly On Mahathir, Anwar And Bolehland's "Shameless Stab-You-From-Behind" Politics

Jeff

A leopard will never change its spots. The old man is always calm n cool.

'I shall come back" And he came back indeed, with victory over the opponents in the last election.

He saw the weakness n the impatience in Anwar. He staked his bet n played his role well.

Despite years in the political arena, Anwar could not see he was walking right into a trap.

The old fox was playing with his victim like a cat playing with a mice b4 its meal.

But this time the old man miscalculated.

He abruptly relinquished all his posts, thinking like the old days, all parties, for or against him, would come rushing to his feet and begging for him to stay on and he would be back as the indispensable and incomparable leader of the country.

Never did he realise that young Brutus would seize the god-given and long awaited opportunity to do the Sheraton Act with fellow conspirators. They ganged up and pulled the carpet from under the old man's feet.

This led not only to the old man's own downfall but the downfall of the people's duly elected Pakatan Harapan government.

No, there will not be a 3rd coming for the old man.

Who cares?

Hahaha. Said well. Ego always gets in one's way. It blinds one that eventually one falls.

As to Anwar, I think he was not impatient. Having spent so much time incarcerated, I think he sees things differently.

I still believe he is d better choice. At least where others are not ready for inclusiveness, Anwar is at least far ahead.

I still believe his day will come. And maybe not far off now. Though everyone is writing him off.

Remember, when u least expect, d unexpected happens. That is the "Mocking Theory" at work. It has never failed to take people by surprise including, remember, ourselves hehehe

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
