Following the trouncing Bersatu received from voters in the Tanjung Piai by-election, the message is loud and clear that the people reject Mahathir.
If Mahathir fails to realise this, his coalition partners in PH should tell him in no uncertain terms the painful truth and ask him step down and pass the baton to Anwar.
If the Pm insists to stay on, that will only ensure that PH will lose to the BN-Pas tieup come the next general election in 3 years or so.
That will be a tragic day for the people who had rejected BN after some 60 long painful years of the regime.
A man must know when his time is up and retire gracefully.
It is not about oneself no matter how much one believes that he is the best man for the job.
Mahathir had had his time in his first stint as the Pm of Bolehland - in fact, 22 plus years or so. That is a long, long period of time as a country's prime minister by any reckoning.
Besides, it is only honourable that one keeps to his side of bargain to pass the baton to Anwar following the PH historic win over the BN regime.

The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family.
