It is understandable politicians refuse to see the truth before their eyes. It makes them feel better.
But so-called expert independent analysts doing the same either tells you they are not independent or they are no experts.
Some of these guys might as well become politicians themselves. At least then, people might understand and might even sympathise with their disorder.
There is no dispute that Mahathir is the reason why people rejected Bersatu at Tanjung Piai.
When has bread and butter issue not ever be relevant factor? But the principle reason why the voters rejected Bersatu in huge numbers is to tell the Pm to shut shop and let Anwar take over.
As the Pm, Mahathir sets the agenda for the nation. But the man has not shown that he is a reformist.
Now after all the promises to the voters, all we see is a reluctance to honour those promises to usher in the dawn of a new Bolehland on flimsy excuses.
What we see, is a harking back to the politics of old.
The constant resort to race and religion to score brownie points and hopefully entrench oneselves in power - and what have you.
Instead of trying to bring the country together and making every citizen feel welcome and appreciated, this constant reference to race and religion only divides the people.
The country seems to be stuck in a rut. Mahathir has no ideas how to bring Bolehland forward.
Things aren't getting any better. Only more costly.
The economy is moribund, if not even going further downhill.
Promises to bring down the cost of living remains shamelessly unfulfilled.
We continue to resort to oppressive laws like Sosma to arrest people that the government Mahathir leads has shamelessly failed to repeal despite their loud election promise to do so, to make the first order of business post election.
The message of the voters in Tanjung Piai is loud and clear - Mahathir has to go, for PH to have any chance of stopping the rot and the return of the toxic BN regime, now made more fearful and undesirable with Pas in bed hehehe......

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
