Teresa Deng, Langga Lamu : Grandpa Digs For Taro And Got A Loach! Hahaha

It is quite safe to say that hardly any Chinese person has no idea of who Teresa Deng was. The late Taiwanese singer is a household name even years after her untimely passing.

For a long time now, many have tried to imitate their idol and quite a few have come close. But two stand out - Chen Jia 陈佳 and Langga Lamu 朗嘎拉姆

Thai teenager Langga Lamu held another concert in Hong Kong (where she is very popular) just days ago and she sang the snappy Minnan (Hokkein) song 天黑黑 （tian hei hei - overcast sky) about grandpa digging for taro but got a loach instead haha. Grandpa loves his food cooked salty and grandma loves it a little less so and they often get into heated arguments over it.

The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family.
