China Debt Trap?

Did China force those countries to agree to the terms? If not, don't blame the Middle Kingdom just because there are corrupt governments willing to take advantage of China to make corrupt deals benefiting themselves. China is the west's favourite punching bag, esp of the US of A simply because they perceive the rise of the Middle Kingdom as a threat to their power. But none of the western countries, and certainly not Uncle Sam himself, are forthcoming to help the third world countries to develop. They are more interested to keep the third world backward so that they could better exploit them. China is the exception. It knows that helping others will also benefit itself. The thing is that each country has to look after itself by not wanting to do corrupt deals that only benefit their corrupt leaders.

China Debt Trap?

People should stop buying into western propaganda against China. The Middle Kingdom is only trying to help other countries develop as this will also benefit itself. The Hambantota Port has become the central piece but everything else is deliberately ignored and discounted because it serves the western interest to put down China. They fear China will spread its influence and reduce their own. In fact, there are multiple ongoing projects that will catapult Sri Lanka into the 21st Century. Colombo is fast becoming unrecognisable modern city that is making people jealous. How about the many expressways being built that will improve connectivity and facilitate business and travel? In fact, the much maligned Hambantota Port & Industrial Port City will also benefit Sri Lanka. It is not all gloom and doom. Tell the world, who else would extend a hand and money to Sri Lanka? The trouble, as happened in Bolehland, is that the people running the country should not be are often corrupt and who rush to take advantage of China to do corrupt deals to benefit not the country, but themselves.

Maha Visionary, Nation And New Bolehland Builder?

It is time Bolehland acts like a grown up and stop kaki pembodek culture. Maha the visionary leader and nation builder? Most thinking Bolehlanders think otherwise. They see Maha as a megalomaniac who rather then be said to have built the nation built the foundation that led to kleptocracy. Now in his second coming as the 7th Pm, it was all thanks to Anwar's reformasi movement. Shall we call it lembu punya susu, sami punya nama?

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
