The revelations here and here by a respected Court of Appeal justice that Bolehland's top judiciary is corrupt are explosive indeed but something that has long been suspected by the people.
That has been so since Maha the Great One sacked the Lord Chancellor and some other top judges in the late 80s. Before that infamous event, the Malaysian judiciary was an internationally respected one.
Since then, no thinking Bolehlanders have trusted the Bolehland institution that is supposed to be the people's last bastion of justice. What a sad indictment to an institution that at one time was a much respected one. And the final hope of the people.
So what is new today?
If the Pakatan government does not have the will or the stomach to clean up the judiciary, the nation will continue on the road to more and more abuses and big time corruption.
But with Maha back in power, reforming the judiciary does not look like it will happen.
Anytime soon. Or ever?
What a shame!
What a tragedy!
Without a judiciary that is clean, there is no hope for the nation.
And for democracy to speak of.

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
