Sixty years after Merdeka, Bolehland is still not independent.
We are still trapped in our minds, constantly looking fearfully over the shoulders at imaginary shadows lurking to enslave us.
Instead of moving confidently forward and claiming our place in the sun. Not constantly talking about protecting race and religion. And their special position in the scheme of things.
What good does it make if all we do is to harp on those and fall behind in all other things. Trapping the nation in no win position. And in constant limbo.
No one owes the nation a living. We have to work hard to earn it. Not being diverted and held back by small minds who care more only for their personal interest and glory than the good of the nation.
Race and religion have always been the cards played by the politikus (political rats) who crave power and all the attendant perks that come with it. These rats don't care a hoot about the nation's welfare but their own. Of course, they cleverly purvey the wares in the august name of the divine and the protection of race, all the more so to fool the simpletons and the gullible who, unfortunately, make up the majority.
Because it is easy to fool people when you use the divine as your launch pad and the protection of race as the platform. Traditionally, few would risk questioning you when you invoke the divine's name to your cause. Or question you when you claim that you are only standing up to defend your race.
Never mind that it is all in the mind and an old game they keeping on playing for personal political gain. Nothing more. Because once they have achieved what they want, they don't care about you.
After the toxic dUMNo regime got voted out post GE 14 after 60 long donkey years, the situation has gotten worse with dUMNo so desperate to return to power the once mighty and seemingly invincible monolith is trying desperately to reclaim being the champions of race and religion by inviting Pas to jump into bed with them and cohabit as partners. Unfortunately for them, Pas is playing coy and has even publicly rebuffed the move. For now, at least.
Who knows what happens down the road. Politics is a whore.
And now we have these people who shout that they are not racists because they have Chinese neighbours and friends (and by declaration, for sure they are not racsists... hahaha...) joining in the fray!
That is how you keep Bolehland from moving forward by moving backwards. Playing up shadows and bogeymen to their cause. Who cares about about anything else. Truth and honesty are inconveniences you avoid like the plague if you are smart.
Hehehe......

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
