Icerd, The Idiots And What Anwar Ibrahim Could Have Done

Some people are out making an issue of Icerd to turn the whole thing into a racial and religious one for their own benefit and threatening to go amok on it.

The plain truth is that it was not what the trouble makers called DAP Chinese, and certainly not the Bolehland Chinese, who were the ones who had suggested ratifying the UN convention on Icerd but Mahathir, the Pm himself, a Malay, who had said at the UN that the new Bolehland was looking to ratify several UN conventions, including Icerd.  Though Mahathir had also said that because of the Bolehland situation, it might be difficult to do so.

What Anwar, as the man to take over the premiership from Mahathir in one or two's years time, could have done, was to have said that the ratification on Icerd could be re-looked into but that he would not tolerate any party turning the whole thing into a racial and religious issue and threatening to go amok if the government failed to heed their demand to scuttle the plan to ratify Icerd.

Anwar cannot conveniently claim that 我们是一家人 (wo men shi yi jia ren) (We are all one family) to an audience and expect to be taken seriously when he goes soft on the trouble makers.

It is this lack of credible leadership on Anwars's part that netizens have doubts about him being the man the country needs to take over from Mahathir as the next Bolehland Pm.

The time is nigh, if Bolehland is to move forward, for everyone to recognise and acknowledge that he has to stand on his own own two feet and earn his own upkeep and not to have to rely on clutches because that is not sustainable for the country as our oil resources and reserves will run out.

The whole country has to put their shoulders together and work hard, irrespective of their race or religious affiliations.

After all, we are supposed to be 一家人!

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
