Who said Mahathir has changed and is a new man? Hahaha....
Good assay. But the truth is that nobody really changes. There is the saying that a leopard never changes it spots.
And the Maha man himself has said he is still the same man.
Now you need no further confirmation than this
It is good to help those who are poor and the disadvantaged. Nobody begrudges that.
But 40+ donkeys years after, and we are still talking of giving a leg up to the affirmative action thingy? What has happened in the 40+ donkey years?
Wasn't Maha himself at the helm of the nation for 22 of those donkey years as the unchallenged Pm and still all the affirmative action thingy has failed to do what it was supposed to do?
So, when it is supposed to do the good that it has failed to do after the 40+ donkey years?
Or is it not time to get tough and cracking and serious about really doing things that will truly help the poor and the disadvantaged, irrespective of race?
Not keep doing the same things over and over again that only enriches a small coterie of the Malays that the affirmative action thingy was supposed to have helped while the majority still lacks behind?
The trouble is that no leader has the guts to say enough is enough, we will try a different approach.
Of course, all leaders aver that they they only work for the good of the rakyat.
As if the people don't know how self-sacrificing leaders are!
Those who believe they have voted in a changed Maha to save the nation, well, dream on.
As long as you don't awake from the dream, you won't be disappointed.
Hehehe.....

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
