So, how do you run an election campaign? On what and how do you expect the people to decide whom they want to represent them as the next government of the day?
Just some wishy washy promises that you don't intent to fulfill anyway when you came to power because promises are just silly? Of course, you have to start somewhere and that is where a party's election manifesto representing what it intends comes in.
You may not be able to fulfill every promise you have made. But nobody in his right mind would expect that anyway.
It is good enough if you tried as much as you could to fulfill the promises to the electorate who have voted you in based on what you have promised.
Where you could not, you should make your case why not. Most people aren't silly. They can think for themselves.
Ex dUMNo ministers who thought the world of themselves should stop being clever. I myself do not agree with the appointment of Maslee as the new education minister. But was he the only one Mahathir could have chosen?
You had your days. Let the new ones take care of the new Bolehland. If they fail, we all take responsibility. And we take them to task.
Your ideas might have worked then.
Now, even your great Maha's ideas are out of date. Like still hankering to look to the setting Nippon sun for inspiration when we should be looking to the Dragon Kingdom. Starting another national car project et al.
Oh my!
Reviving the crooked bridge project to nowhere down south, in the offing?

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
