I know this is a bit late in the day, but the Agong's advice to Najib's adminstration to hold talks with organisers of the Bersih2 Rally INSTEAD of taking a hard line against them got me thinking.
In modern times, waging war against the king is unheard of. Some say that it has long gone out of fashion, as extinct as the dodo. Nowadays, people use the ballot box to vote out the government they don't like without affecting the constitutional monarch's position.
But apparently, it seems, there are some people in Bolehland who still think there are still people in Malaysia who want to wage war against the king. Waging war against the king by just wearing t-shirts of Mao, Che Guevara and Chin Peng?
Some people must be very naive indeed.
So sad.
