Has Bersih2 Been Cornered?

It is tragic that the rakyat can no longer believe what the government says, but it will be a double whammy if the people cannot even trust the NGOs.

Following the king's letter to the Najib's adminstration, which some unkind people even say may just be another Bolehland sandiwara, a claim I cannot and am not brave enough to accede to, PM Najib has warned the organisers to hold the Bersih2 Rally inside a stadium instead.

Now the Bersih2 organisers want to have an audience with the king before it makes a final decision on the rally scheduled for 9th July.

We don't know what the outcome of the audience with the Agong will be, if the audience is granted. But the chairperson of the rally, Ambiga Sreneevasan. has already said that the organisers will accede to the king's advice.

One way or another, the rakyat may feel short-changed already.
