Prince William and Catherine Middleton got married yesterday and no matter what you think of the British monarchy or monarchy in general, you just had to watch the live telecast of the wedding, if for nothing than to avoid the depressing news of what was happening in the rest of the world. For Malaysians, it was a much needed respite from the porno politics Malaysians are being subjected to lately by our own politicians.
You cannot repeat the magic of Dianna's wedding to Prince Charles but this one came close.
However, unlike between Dianna and Prince Charles, you could feel the palpable chemistry between Prince William and Catherine.
And Catherine Middleton has this divine smile that so warms your heart! And Prince William? A match.
It is estimated that some 2 billion people watched the wedding.
I wish the royal couple a happily married life.

The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family.
