PMX Anwar's silence is paralysing when the Chinese come under siege by Akmal!
We Malaysians were elated when the PH coalition became the government of the day with Anwar as the 10th prime minister of Malaysia.
We thought he was the genuine article.
The man who would finally bring the nation together and lead us all on the road to a successful and united nation after the decades of division..
A true reformist who wasn't afraid to say and do the right things.
Wasn't PMX the guy who would loudly avow publicly that "anak Cina, anak saya, anak India, anak saya, anak Iban, anak saya, anak Dayak, anak say" and so on and so forth?
Well, well, well, so soon after all the loud public declarations, Anwar got all riled up by what a Form six student had asked about preferential treatment when it came to allocation of places in public universities that favoured the Malay/Bumiputera students and discriminated against the nons.
As the Pm, Anwar could and should have had handled the matter better than tearing into the poor frightened female Indian student.
That incident itself put paid to the image PMX was trying to paint of himself as the pm for all!
