On The Curious Silence Of PMX

Like it or not, Anwar is more a showman than a leader or a statesman.

He talks a lot, more lip service than action.

Remember he was the one who often loudly and proudly proclaimed 'Anak Cina anak saya, anak India anak saya, anak Iban anak saya...'

And so on and so forth.

All so inclusive and inspiring loh!

But at the first opportunity he had to prove himself, he tore into the poor form six Indian female student when she had asked about discriminatory policies that denied deserving non Malay students places in institutions of higher learning.

As the Pm and one who had avowed all Malaysians are citizens, all races are his children, he could have had respectfully answered the poor frightened Indian student why there was still a need for the existing policies that gave preferential treatment to the Malays and bumiputeras.

That outburst gave the lie to  PMX's avowal, no meh?

Sorry, quite characteristic, I must say, of PMX.

While Anwar likes to talk and talk and talk on the international stage, he does little and won't say much on the local front on matters he needs to show his leadership in putting an end to the divisive and toxic politics of race and religion.

Perhaps lacking the guts or conviction to be a true statesman that will take the country forward instead of keeping it in a rut, if not actually moving backwards.

Correct me if I am wrong loh.

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
