Can Hamas Be Trusted With A Ceasefire Deal With Israel? A Conversation With Friend Simon

Whatever deal with Hamas with the exchange of Hamas prisoners for a small number of Israeli hostages and the withdrawal of IDF forces from several areas of Gaza will only give Hamas breathing space and time to regroup and recover

Om Ni

And in time a second October 7 on the cards?

Om Ni

Can one trust Hamas, dead bent on eliminating Israel by hook or by crook, no?

Om Ni

Looks like history will repeat with no end to a true resolution

Om Ni

Only way out, it looks like, is that Hamas no longer holds sway in Gaza

Om Ni

The process to a lasting resolution to the Palestinian issue can then begin

Om Ni

And hopefully no more misery all round

Om Ni

Amen

Simon

There's no point negotiating...

Om Ni

Haha...many, though, view Hamas as freedom fighters. Saviours of the oppressed and regard October 7 as culmination and laudable proof of Hamas' heroism against the oppressors

Simon

What an upside down world we're living in.

Om Ni

Ain't going to contradict that!

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
