Mariam Mokhtar, we can learn many lessons from the tiny island state, Singapore, no just one leh!
On fighting corruption for sure even when it involves a cabinet minister.
No compromise, no dilly dallying.
No theatrics like you said.
No DNNAs, no reduction of sentence terms and discounts on fines.
Just plain, cogent judgment.
We can also learn to foster unity and respect for each other, irrespective of race or religious beliefs.
No discrimination.
A government that gets on with its job minus the politics of race and religion.
Always staying ahead.
Here, politicians and their cohorts, cronies, families, hangers-on, rent seekers and whatnots, know they can get away with murder, so to speak, and in some cases, literally?
The less said about PMX, the self-proclaimed 'father of Malaysia,' the better loh!
The guy who labelled his critics and those who disagree with him 'bebal' - dumb wits.
Unable to accept criticism and differences of opinion, what can Malaysians expect from PMX?
Instead of focusing his attention in making the rakyat's lives better, the PM is more focused, it seems, in making an image for himself internationally, no?
Busy jetting here and there in the two short years he's been the PM.
While the ordinary Malaysians are facing rising cost of living and finding lives more and more difficult to cope with, we have the means to offer unsolicited aid of millions and millions to others, flying them over here for medical treatment and offering placements and scholarships in educational institutions while our own deserving students are denied the privilege owing to discriminatory policies.
And in the matter of helping out our flood victims we don't seem to have the means without also having to appeal to the private sector for help?
Ai ya ya!!
