Is The Democratic Space Of Freedom Of Expression Being Curtailed On The Excuse Of 3Rs Issue By PMX's So-Called Madani Unity Government?

Anwar  used to pride himself as a reformist, one that was also for greater space for freedom of speech.

Now that he is the prime minister, his so-called Madani unity government seems to be closing down the space on freedom of expression on the excuse of preserving harmony on the 3Rs ( Race, Religion and Royalty) issue..

Right thinking Malaysians are not against curbing the space on the 3Rs issue to preserve harmony among the multi-racial, multi-religious populace but where such discussions or reference to the subjects are not provocative nor inciting disharmony but honest views and opinions what can be done to improve harmony and understanding instead, to curb that makes no sense.

Worse still, to curb any suggestion that the government is not up to par or to take any of its minsters to task for one thing or another, is blatant interference with the constitutional right of the people to freedom of speech

People's posts in various social medias have been shut down, with the MCMC (Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission) often been accused of seeing to it.

Communications minster Fahmi Fadzil has turned to be a disappointment, time and again  denying his ministry has anything to do with it at all.

Fahmi should not hide behind MCMC and claim innocence, no?

Ultimately PMX has to walk the talk of freedom of speech, not allowing space for difference of opinions on the pretext of the 3Rs issue is just not it.

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
