The 'Look East Policy,' actually Mathatir's failed legacy to the nation, now includes China says Anwar
Well, well, well...not to include China today would be anything but a farce.
Japan's economy has been in stagnation for 30 plus years now, the outcome of being an 'Merikain puppet, forced to kowtow.
Today, it is Japan and Korea who are looking to China.
Left behind in robotics, AI, the widespread adoption of things digital, efficient high speed transportation, the adoption of modern highly efficient, digitalised and robotised means of production and space technology et al, it is no wonder Korea and Japan are now looking to China.
How will our 'Look East Policy' under Anwar, that now includes China, turn out for the country?
Just another empty slogan?
As to adopting a “fiercely independent” foreign policy depending on Malaysia’s interests, maybe we should not be too gung ho about it vis-a-vis China.
Diplomacy is the wise way to go about it.
We are not dealing with a weakling but the world's second largest economy, soon to become the world's largest, with concurrent military power.
China can, if it wanted to, ignore us. But without China's trade and investments, Malaysia's economy will take a turn for the worse.
'Merika is not a reliable friend. One that, to be kind to it, is fast in decline and collapse as the self-appointed taikor of the world.
A bully biting the dust as it goes down.
Hehehe😂😂😂
