Even Such A Positive, Muhibbah Video To Celebrate Malaysia Day Of A Malay Family Speaking Mandarin Among Themselves Has Attracted Quite A Number Of Negative Comments.

Even such a positive, muhibbah video to celebrate Malaysia Day of a Malay family speaking Mandarin among themselves has attracted a quite a number of negative comments.

There is even one, if I am not mistaken, that told the family to go to China if they were focused on speaking Mandarin!

Most of the negative comments were on condemning the Chinese Malaysians for being unable to speak Malay.

That might have been true in the past. Today, most of them can speak and write in the national language.

Some among the comments have even asked the Chinese Malaysians to go back to China then.

It is not profitable nor does it make sense to label  Chinese Malaysians as pendatangs, immigrants.

To be truly consistent, except for the natives of peninsular Malaya, the Orang Asli, the indigenous people, and the natives of Sabah and Sarawak, we are all in one sense of another, pendatangs, immigrants.

Just like, except for the natives of the US, the red Indians, the rest of the Americans are all pendatangs, immigrants in one sense or another.

We are after all, Malaysian citizens irrespective of race or colour or religion.

We should therefore respect each other as fellow citizens and live harmoniously with each as as fellow citizens.

Unfortunately, for a long, long time now, unscrupulous political rodents have exploited race and religion to divide the people and score brownie points in their naked pursuit for power.

So so sad what Bolehland has come to!!

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
