Aiya, Chin Tong, ah, what is this big talk about 'precariats' and 'precarity' leh!
How many understand what those words mean lah?
Use simple words if you want to get your points across loh!
In the first place, remuneration must commensurate with productivity and employers must not be coddled to the employees' disadvantage.
Do agree cheap, unskilled, foreign labour in millions has impacted the local labourers' pay and employment, with employers and corporations taking advantage of lackadaisical rules and regulations relating to the hire of cheap, unskilled foreign labour, contributing to precarity.
Something the government has to seriously look into and deal with now, the abject failure of previous administrations, for reason or reasons only they knew why?
Heheh😃😃😃...
'Techuping' is may sound like a brilliant idea, the modern day panache to the hassle (s) of physical labour and labourers and the answer to saving on costs.
But it is double-edged sword too. Impinging on the labour market.
So we need to proceed wisely; how, what and at what rate techuping is pushed.
