China's 5 Year Plans Vs US's "4 Year Plans"

China has 5 year plans with which the country plans ahead for the next 5 coming years.

These plans focus on developing the country economically and helping the people to better their lives, including poverty alleviation.

Also how the country plans to move forward as a nation.

The US too has plans - if you will allow me to dignify by calling them the "4 Year Plans" if I may, that is, hehehe.......

Unlike China's 5 year plans, the US's "4 Year Plans" focus on how to win the next US presidency.

These plans are all about the Dems' and the GOPs' political ambitions.

Not so much about the country's development.

Between the Chinese plans and the US ones, there really is no comparison to talk of.

One is basically forward looking economic plans and the other purely political ones that change nothing but determine which of the two political parties runs the White House.

The nature of the US "4 Year Plans" may account for the crumbling public  infrastructures, with more and more poor people living out on the streets, high crime rates, including random public shootings, a growing substance abuse problem, tired old cities, thanks to a government largely unconcerned about the hoi polloi but engages in war mongering and waging wars to feed the ever avaricious military industrial complex and wily nilly benefit themselves and the corrupt Washington political establishment, wasting time and resources trying to contain China from becoming the world's numero uno.

And why China's have been able to lift hundreds of millions out of poverty, develop great public infrastructures and a super efficient high speed train system crisscrossing the country that should be the envy of the world, new and clean cities, low crime rates, a largely cashless and 5G connectivity society as opposed to America's tired cash and credit card 4G connectivity society, a government that is forward looking and, though not elected directly by the people, is largely concerned about and works hard to improve their lives.

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
