Water is an essential commodity yet disruptions to water supply are a regular feature in Bolehland's supposedly richest and most developed state.
This state of affairs is inexcusable!
As of this writing, Selangor is facing another water supply disruption to several areas in the state as a result of pollution detected at several treatment plants.
This is not the first time this kind of thing has happened.
What has the Selangor government been doing all this while?
Has it taken the culprits causing the pollution and/or those responsible for discharging toxic effluents into the rivers and waterways to court?
It is not as if this is the first time the same problem has been encountered.
The water supply disruptions, for one reason or another, make lives difficult for everyone affected.
Sometimes for several days, residents have to go without water to meet their needs - a most exasperating experience.
In this time of the Covid pandemic, how do you expect the people to wash their hands often and do all the other things to maintain hygiene?
The Selangor government really needs to buck up!
You have been voted in to do your job.
