Fifteen years ago I had just finished arguing my client's case in court and looking forward to watch 'Sepet' at KLCC the next day.
I wasn't disappointed.
2005 was one of the beautiful times of my life and 'Sepet' just added to it.
Isn't it sad that fifteen years down the road we are still waiting for another Sepet movie that could entertain and move a multi-racial and multi-cultural audience?
Or still waiting for a director-film maker like Yasmin Ahmad?
Is the Malaysian film industry forever doomed to mediocrity?
Thanks to Maximum Hype, we are all reminded of what we have lost with the untimely passing of Yasmin Ahmad
