Riza Aziz Case : For Once, Mahathir Might Be Right!
I am not a fan of Mahathir.
Never has been.
No matter what others think of him.
But on the Riza Aziz case, I think I lean towards agreeing with Mahathir's views
Should people who, after being caught and charged for allegedly ill-gotten gains in the hundreds of million ringgit, be allowed to get away after agreeing to return the loot?
Does it, or should it, come that easy?
What are we saying?
What is the message we are trying to get across?
That it is alright to commit big ringgit crimes so long as you agree to return the loot?
But not for the small timers who go have to go to jail?
Strange world we live in.
Strange world!
I hope I am wrong.
So, too, Mahathir!
Hehehe.......

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
