On Alleged Racism Against Black Foreigners In Guangzhou China
Om Ni
It is nice to see that more and more commenters are now coming out to put D in his place, really quite unlike his diehard fans who regularly and regimentally gobble up every word he says. Is D feeling particularly vulnerable and insecure that he is neither white nor Chinese? He, of all people, should know better that despite him not being Chinese and an obvious foreigner, the Chinese people still treat him well and do not discriminate against him based on his colour.
Look, the Chinese have been discriminated against for centuries but they don't feel the need to call out the culprits nor try to convince the culprits that they are wrong. We go about our business and don't waste our energy getting into a fight. But, of course, there is always a point beyond which if you went too far, people are people.
Certain group of foreigners misbehaving themselves and refusing to toe the law in this particularly trying time of the Covid 19 monster and yet expecting to be treated deferentially and differently from the locals, isn't the stuff you want to put a particular colour to it, however provoked the little holier than thou crusader in you might become hehehe.....
On Discussing Bigotry In Against Foreigners

Glad you are more balanced than some people who are quick to colour ever incident through the lens of racism even though what appears to be racist is more a reaction to a trying situation. Covid 19 is not a walk in the park. It is a monster and nerves get frayed easily and understandably.
The less shrill racism crusaders be in their eagerness to highlight what they perceive as unacceptable the better for everyone, especially now when the whole world is faced with a rogue virus that does not care what colour you are.
China is coming out of the Covid 19 menace and Guangzhou is not going to be kind to some group of foreigners who don't toe the line in the life an death fight against an invisible rogue that waits to kill you at every lax move and who yet expect to be treated deferentially and differently from the locals hahaha....
