Covid 19 Malaysia: Are We Proactive Enough In The Fight Against The Monster?

It is a good thing MCO (Movement Control Order) is in place. This has helped somewhat in the fight against the Covid 19 monster.

People have largely complied with MCO but enforcement must be applied equally across the board, irrespective of who its breakers might be.

Not one group of violators arrested, thrown into lockups, handcuffed and corralled like cattle in orange prison garb and herded to the courts to face action.

Another, privileged group of violators, merely being called up to have their statements recorded?

Everyone is equally affected and must abide by the rules.

For a few days now the number of new Covid 19 cases recorded has dropped to double digits from a three digit number, which should be encouraging enough.

However, it is still touch and go. We do not know whether the fewer number of newly infected cases recorded is because of fewer tests being done or not or whatever.

Have we been proactive or merely being reactive?

For example, had anyone anticipated that a large religious gathering that took place might just become the center of an outbreak and had the foresight to call it off before that happened?

Have we looked into whether the presence of a large number of foreign workers here, many of whom are not regulated, might just be the vulnerable group that we should have looked into to make sure that they do not become another source of outbreak -  something that even our otherwise super efficient neighbour Singapore had failed to take into account and is now having to do damage control?

Bolehland expects Moo's backdoor government to be on top of things, especially in the fight against an uncompromising rogue virus that waits to kill irrespective of who you are.

If we are not at our best, it is going to be a long, long painful and tragic road ahead for everyone.

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
