Mahathir says that he is ready to step down immediately as the Pm if that is what the PH presidential councils wants him to do.
Does the Pm really mean it?
Or does he know something that Bolehland can speculate about i.e that the PH presidential council does not have the guts to ask for his immediate resignation?
Especially as Mahathir had also specifically said that the decision has to be made by all the four coalition partners in the council, knowing very well that his own party Bersatu will never ask for it anyway. And that there are some members of PKR who would rather betray their own leader Anwar.
The perception that Mahathir does not really want to step down is reinforced by his constant vacillation on when he will actually step down in favour of Anwar.
The honourable thing for Mahathir to do, if he is really ready to step down anytime, is for himself do it without having the PH council telling to do so.
Especially now when more and more Bolehlanders are disillusioned with the man's leadership. They see Mahathir as a hindrance to the reforms PH had pledged to carry out in their election manifesto. They also see Mahathir as a divisive figure rather than a unifying one for multi-racial and multi-religious Bolehland.
The Tanjung Piai by-election result should have convinced Mahathir to step aside and let Anwar take over. That does not seem to be the case.
Can Bolehland then be trusted to believe that Mahathir means what he says about being ready to step down immediately as the Pm?

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
