Instead of working to usher in a new Bolehland that the people had voted for, the PH government led by Mahathir seems to be dragging its feet on the mandate given them.
Wasn't it the grand old man himself who had tried to justify that, in fact, PH had not expected to win the general election implying that they had not really been serious about their election pledges to voters and therefore not obliged to fulfill them?
That is as lame an excuse as any that anyone could use to justify the foot dragging if not outright betrayal of the voters' faith.
Why are we still resorting to obnoxious legislations to detain people instead of repealing them as had been promised voters?
That alone says alot of how Mahathir's administration has failed the people who had looked to it to show faith in them.
Having a leader who grandstands at the UN but is unable, or unwilling, to do what he promises at the august house, like going back on ICERD at the first sign of local opposition, is not only not good for Bolehland's international image but more frightfully, casts doubts on whether you could trust the Pm.
When you could not longer rely on what the Pm says, it is as good as saying that you could not trust him.
Adding to all the things that don't inspire confidence, is the uncertainty on when, or whether at all, Mahathir intends to pass the baton to Anwar as had been agreed between the PH coalition partners.
The uncertainty is destablising the coalition and has led to alot of ugly politicking that not only makes matters worse than they should be but also makes it harder to do the real work like improving the economy and making every Bolehlander feel that he has a stake in the country.
Instead of just a pawn for greedy political rats fighting among themselves for the biggest and choicest cheese.

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
