China Should Come Down Hard On Hong Kong Protesters Especially After They Stormed The Territory's Legislature To Wreck Havoc And Caused Damage To It

Many countries have extradition arrangements with other countries. Why can't China have one with a territory that is its own anyway?

What are the protesters afraid of? Their claim that extradition threatens Hong Kong's autonomy and undermines its independence and its legal system is just bogus and laughable hahaha...Well, they can say that to the British independence and its legal system too because Britain does have extradition arrangements with many countries.

The truth is that Hong Kongers make believe that they are an independent country. No, it is not. China gave Britain face when it agreed to grant the territory autonomy for a period when it retook it from the British who had forced China to concede the territory

Autonomy does not equate to independence. It just means you have say in some things.

But what is the beef about the proposed extradition bill that those protesters were even ready to storm the territory's legislature and wreck havoc and cause damage to it?

The proposed bill provides for the extradition of those who have committed an offence that is both a criminal offence in the Mainland and Hong Kong punishable with at least 7 years incarceration. What is wrong with that? There is nothing political there.

The bill came about after the infamous case of a Hong Kong man who had gone to Taiwan to meet his Taiwanese girl friend whom he later killed and then stuffed the body into a bag and fled Taiwan. It seems that the killer has not been charged in Hong Kong for murder since the crime had not been committed in the territory and there is no extradition treaty with Taiwan.

Are the protesters saying that it is alright for a Hong Kong resident to go commit a crime in the Mainland and then flee back to Hong Kong into safety without any consequence? What independence are they talking about?

The protestors' fear that China would use extradition as an excuse to nap Hong Kong China critics is also misplaced. If China wants to do that they don't need an extradition arrangement and what can you do?

Britain and the west should not shove their nosy butts in in what is essentially a Chinese affair. Britain essentially stole Hong Kong from China and exploited it to the fullest. What the west always wants is nothing less than trouble for the Middle Kingdom and the stupid Hong Kong white worshippers are playing into their hands.

Time Hong Kongers woke up to the fact that they are not Caucasians.

The sooner Hong Kongers woke up from their delusion, the better it is for everyone. Hong Kongers are Chinese and the Mainland is their motherland. Unless, of course, they thought they are white Britishers hehehe and Britain is their mom hahaha

Maybe, China should not hesitate to revoke the autonomy if Hong Kongers continue to behave like a spoilt western child for the privilege of autonomy that had been accorded them in trust for a period hehehe.....

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
