On Maha Thinking Of Taxing E-Commerce
Khi
Not all e-commerce should be taxed. Only those earning above a threshold line should. Of course, those big earners should pay as much as everyone else. Come a time, e-commerce will take away jobs. People are already talking of the 4th Industrial Revolution where automation and AI will make many work and even professions redundant. Bolehland should be prepared. Come that day, what goes if e-commerce sucks all the money and does not have to pay tax? An universal basic income should be considered where every citizen above a certain age should be given a monthly stipend no questions asked that will help to create demand in a locality and create jobs within it. We should do away the paltry Bantuan Sara Hidup only given to some people who qualify and that too, once or twice a year that really doesn't help
On Rais Saying No Formal Agreement Anwar To Take Over From Mahathir
Khi
Hahaha...was there an official agreement that the man Rushman tries to curry favour would be the Pm? Yet, despite Anwar's wife being offered the Pm's post by the last Agong, PH let Maha be the Pm. It is all about honour! If you have it, you keep to the informal agreement. Who cares about formal agreements? There should be no vacillating about handing the baton to Anwar. In fact, a date must be set for this. Uncertainty about when or if at all, Anwar takes over is not good for investors' confidence. Whether Anwar will turn out to be a good Pm or not is another matter. Silly Bolehlnaders had waited and wasted 60 + years to change a government, they can wait another 3 or 4 to kick Anwar out if he fails to perform.
