Physical Books Are Still The Best

I hate e-books, they are a modern day thief.

They steal the joy of reading from you. The thrill of turning the pages and hearing the satisfying swish as the pages turn.

The feel of the physical book's texture and the smell of it.

The weight of it in your hands.

The knowledge of where you are exactly at at any moment - whether you are only a quarter, a half or three-quarters way through or whatever. Unlike the e-book where you only have a figure to indicate where you are at.

And even after you have finished reading an e-book, it doesn't really feel like you have read a book at all!

Don't know about you, but I can't recall as much of what I have read reading an e-book than is the case with reading a physical one.

I hate e-books!

They are a modern day thief.
