Some Of My Random Comments On Yahoo Malaysia News

Inclusive Bolehland

A country divided will always be racked with strife and backwardness. But in Bolehland the narrative of race and religion has been played for so long by self-serving politikus it will be hard to break away from seeing things through the lens of race and religion. Anwar himself runs the risk being perceived as siding with the minority because by and large, people have become so conditioned they cannot see things in any other light. Still, for Bolehland to advance as a nation in this cyber age, there is no alternative than to get everyone on board the inclusive front. Anwar himself has to stay strong on his conviction. I see Anwar's daughter Nurul as the the future standard bearer of a more progressive Bolehland. At least, I do hope so. There is no viable alternative except a united Bolehland, not one divided by race and religion and failing to realise its full potential.

ECRL

If you have to lose 21 billion for nothing, why not proceed and get something in return? Besides, the larger loss would be trade with China. They can easily cripple our economy by not buying our palm oil and other products. Even Japan and Korea had to retrace their steps for fear of being economically affected when they were seen to be siding too closely with Uncle Sam. It is better to be in China's good books than Donald the Twitter Duck's US of A. The US is more about exporting arms and starting wars. At least the Middle Kingdom is more interested in trade. The choice is a no brainer.

Constitutional Monarchy

Bolehland needs to get on with life. It is high time the duly elected government be allowed to carry out its work without having to second guess. If Bolehland is a constitutional monarchy, than it is imperative that the monarch acts on the advice of the Pm. Otherwise it would be like frustrating if not thwarting the will of the people who have given the mandate to the government of the day they have voted into power. Constantly trying to put a spanner into the works is not conducive to the smooth running of the government. And will only work to the detriment of the nation's interest.

MCMC On Offensive Social Media Remarks

Gobind should focus on politicians exploiting race and religion to garner popular support. Often the words they use are incendiary and can lead to discord and distort national discourse. Instead of focusing on private citizens venting their frustrations. The trouble in Bolehland is that certain people are deemed above criticism and the authorities just go along by happily arresting people who may just be venting their frustrations at their impotence to speak out

Look East Again?

Look east to where? The Land of The Setting Sun? Japan's sun has set. But Maha can't see. He is Nippon blind. Pls stop rehashing old policies that are outdated and irrelevant and may even be detrimental. The rising sun is the Middle Kingdom. Instead of looking to Japan again, Bolehland would be better off to look to China, how in 40 short years they have overtaken the American economy by PPP reckoning and try to learn something from the Chinese miracle.

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
