Bolehlanders are sick and tired of the shenanigans to keep Mahathir as the Pm beyond the two years in breach of the prior PH agreement.
Yes, the agreement was not one written in stone as Maha the Great One claimed. Yes, in legalese, it is not an agreement enforceable in law.
But it is all about honour.
If the other chaps in the coalition can keep their side of the bargain to let Maha be the Pm for two years, why can't Pribumi keep theirs? There is honour even among thieves!
Don't tell us, Pribumi is worse than a bunch of thieves?
Yes, Maha has said that he will pass the baton to Anwar. But he had also said that he might stay on as the Pm beyond two years or more, or for as long as the people wanted him to.
Can we really trust a man who speaks like that?
Remember, Mahathir had stopped Anwar from taking over as his successor during his first term as the 4th Pm by having Anwar indicted for sodomy that many saw as a trumped up charge.
What is to prevent that happening again?
The man does not have a good reputation of allowing his deputy to succeed him. Circumstances finally forced Mahathir to pass the baton to Badawi. But thereafter, Maha worked to oust him and succeeded.
To put a stop to all the shenanigans that have caused so much unease and distrust among the PH partners, it may be a good idea that Mahathir steps down now rather than later.
Especially with the ongoing rubbish collection exercise of dUMNo frogs into the Pribumi fold that voters see as a betrayal of their mandate and the fear that instead of having voted for a New Bolehland, the country is heading back to the old toxic dUMNoland.

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
