Some people can't see beyond their noses and just want to score a political point. They talk as if the world is coming to an end just because lawyers, the CJ and the AG chose to dance at an occasion.
We need to relax a little. It is no as if the CJ, the AG and lawyers having a dance at an occasion means independence of the judiciary is subverted.
The independence of the judiciary is not subverted because the CJ chooses to join in a dance with the AG and lawyers at an event celebrating the start of a new legal year.
People's perception is not a delicate flower. Most people can distinguish between what they rightly will perceive as improper and what they won't.
For example, if a judge is seen holdidaying with a lawyer whose has a case pending before him, most people will see that as improper.
Having a dance with everyone present at a social occasion commemorating the start of a legal year?
Better look elsewhere for a better target to shoot at.
Hehehe......

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
