Faith And Belief In God Counterproductive? Ah! The Devil Of Faith And Belief

When you know something, you don't have to believe or have faith in it. When you don't know, then you can have faith and belief in it.

For example, you know electricity for a fact. You don't have to have faith or belief in it. It will be silly to say that you have faith and belief in electricity.

Your faith or belief in electricity or your lack of, won't make any difference. Electricity will still be electricity whether you have faith of or belief in it or not.

The same with god. If you know god, you don't have to have faith or belief in god. It is silly to say you have faith or belief in god. If you don't know, you can say you have faith or belief in god, because that is the best you can say or claim.

If you know god, what is there to say that you have faith or belief in god? The mere fact that you say you believe in god, or have faith in god, says you don't know.

Faith and belief are really nothing but the enthronement of hearsay as King. Yes, hearsay! What someone says about what someone says about what someone says about what someone said on god.

Then this hearsay is manipulated into 'truth' that you are not to contradict on pain of heaven or hell. Until even god is stumped and does not understand.

If you know god, there is no need to believe or have faith in god. And fight over your 'truth,' divide and kill in god's name, in defence of your belief and faith. Labelling others gentiles and devils deserving of death and perdition. Making god out to look more like a monster than ever compassionate, loving and forgiving.

Ah! the devil of faith and belief!

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
