Equanimity Seized? Haha, Hope ThIs Will Be The Start Of The End Of The 1MDB Saga

The US Attorney General had called the 1MDB saga as the world's worst case kleptocracy. Well, if that was meant as a compliment, it couldn't have been better put haha.....

But billions of missing ringgit from a sovereign fund meant to better the economic prospects of Bolehland is not a laughing matter even though some people still insist that all was above board. These are usually the chief suspects and those hoping for some payoffs.

The luxury yatch said to have been bought with funds siphoned off from 1MDB is now reported to have been seized by Indonesian authorities. That has a long time been coming since the US Department of Justice initiated court proceedings to size assets they say had been bought from laundered money.

We don't know if a fat low had been on the yacht. But the yacht's seizure alone is welcome news.

Hopefully, the seizure will be the start of bringing a just and quick resolution to the 1MDB saga that has brought shame and despair to Bolehland.

And may all who have been responsible for the scandal be brought to full accounting, no matter how high a position they may occupy in the Bolehland firmament.

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
