Hanfu: It Would Be Nice To Bring Back The Han Chinese Historical Dress For Certain Occasions

Those who have watched Chinese period dramas must have noticed the magnificent costumes worn by the actors and actresses.

One of the joys of watching Chinese period dramas, especially those produced by Mainland China, is the Hanfu, the historical Han Chinese dress worn by the artistes.

Each Chinese Dynasty had it own distinctive Hanfu. I believe the Korean Hanbok and the Japanese Kimono were hugely influenced if not dictated by the Hanfu.

I agree with some youtube commenters that the Hanfu should be brought back for certain occasions.

Though the Hanfu may not be a practical option for everyday occasions, it would be nice to bring it back for certain occasions. What these occasions may be, I think readers have their own ideas and it would be nice to hear what they have to say.

The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family.
