Sarawak Lost, Bn Won!

It is already a week since the Sarawak state election. By voting for the status quo, Sarawak lost, Bn won!

I do not agree with the 'experts' who say that Bn won big because the opposition were disunited and squabbling among themselves.

Bn won for a number of reasons -  one among which is that Sarawak voters are  politically immature, many of them easily taken in with sweet promises despite the donkey decades of neglect.

Can't blame them really. The state is so backward despite all the abundant natural resources it possesses. Are the voters even aware of what is happening in their own state?

I am just sorry for Sarawak and for peninsular Bolehland.

Sarawak will continue to be screwed. Progress will come not to it for many more donkey decades, voting for the status quo.

In fact, both Sabah and Sarawak are basket cases.

But what is most frustrating for peninsular Bolehland is that the east Malaysian states are holding peninsular Bolehland back.

Peninsular Bolehland wants change but the east Malaysian states choose to be the willing safe deposit vote bank for Bn.

It is hard to understand why Sabah and Sarawak enjoy being serially short-changed and left far behind the rest of Bolehland despite all the abundant natural resources the states are blessed with.

Kluang was a sleepy hollow, but is fast becoming a bustling town. You can't miss the bust-shaped gunung Lambak lording over the place and the town is well known for its tv brand coffee powder

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
