A police inspector was alleged to have run amok at a hotel in Seremban after he had allegedly booked a room.
Two hotel employees were said to have been injured and several cars vandalised in the incident.
This happened just several days after another imcident of a couple allegedly running amok near the PM's department in Putrajaya.
What is happening?
We have not heard of amok cases for quite a long time and now suddenly within the space of several days, we have two dramatic cases of people allegedly running amok, one even involving a police inspector!
Now, if the authorities still want to tell us that all is honky dory where crime is concerned, we will just allow them to continue to us tall tales.
There is no harm in continuing to assure Malaysians that the country's crime rate has plummeted. After all, it is better lah that Malaysians nurse a false sense of security rather than panicking, no?
But pray tell why the sudden surge in amok cases, anyone?

Kluang RailCoffee
The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family. I hope the next time I return, the coffee would regain its oomph. Click to read more...
