That rat - madman Gaddafi - is dead. Now the United Nations want to play nice guys.
UN Commissioner for Human Rights, Navi Pillay, had been qouted to have said that Gaddafi had died in suspicious circumstances and that there should be a full investigation into his death.
His spokeman, Rupert Colville, was also qouted by the BBC to have said: "There are two videos out there, one showing him alive and one showing him dead and there are four or five different versions of what happened in between those two cell phone videos. That obviously raises very, very major concerns,"
Did anybody care or raise a major concern or ask for full investigation about the number of Libyan people the rat had killed and tortured? And how they had been tortured and killed? It is nice now to talk about investigating how the rat had died and asking for a full investigation.
Come on, there was a war out there against a tyrant and long time oppressor and nobody's going to care about how the tyrant died or had the time in the heat of battle or the passion aroused from 40+ years of oppression to care about legal niceties!
It is well and good of the UN to now insist on a full investigation as to how Gaddafi had died. It would have been better if the UN had been less of a paper tiger against Gaddafi when the tyrant was alive.
This is as much an indictment of the UN as it is of human nature to want to act and appear nice and be a hero after the fact and cheaply too.
