Art Is What You Dare

People are intimidated by art. And no wonder, because most of us are unable to even draw a stick man properly.

But what is art really?

If a well known artist drew a stick man and put it up for sale, I am sure there would be no lack of suckers willing to part with the asking price.

If you look around at all the junk out there called art, and many by so-called big name artists, including those so-called masterpieces of the past, you get what I mean.

Forget about the artsy-fartsy attempts to explain and justify, confuse and intimidate and generally to make you feel ignorant and less of a human being what art is, what is left is that whatever you like is art to you and whatever the artist dare is art to him.

So, this masterpiece for sale for US 1.3 million.
