From challenging the Prime Minister to an open debate on the economy of the country, Anwar is now reported to be asking for an open discussion on the economy instead (Free Malaysia Today 13th January post).
What's happened?
I am sure we Malaysians are all very disappointed. We have been waiting eagerly for the PM to accept Anwar's challenge to a public debate.
But now it seems all this waiting is in vain.
Why the flip flop, Anwar?
It is not good for Anwar and it is not good for Pakatan and it is not good for the public, who I am sure do really want to know whether Pakatan Rakyat's 100 day plan will bankrupt the country or whether Najib was right.
This constant flip flopping from public figures does not help the public to make up their minds as to whom to trust with the stewardship of the country and speaks badly of our politicians.
