While the Malaysian Chinese Association is salivating at the prospect of a return to cushy Cabinet appointments and endless possibilities following their delegates shamelessly voting to go back on their word of shunning Cabinet positions for their poor showing at the polls, we have news of senior cops being investigated for corruption.
The revelations no longer shock Bolehlanders.
We have suspected all along that corruption is a big problem here but there is no political will to combat it since everyone who is anyone, it seems, has his hands in the tills and is joyfully helping himself to the goodies.
The men in blue seemingly not exempted too.
We are sceptical that any good will come out of the investigations.
Perhaps a few cops will face prosecution to show that something is being done, but the real big fishes will be let off to swim happily in the waters laden with endless possibilities and all will go back to SNA (Situation Normal Again)
This is Bolehland for you, where all is fair and square - provided you hand me my share and and I am happy about it.
The rest is called life is short - don't rock the boat!
This is Bolehland - where everything can!
