Bravo!
The High Court decision awarding RM 37 million to the widow is a praiseworthy judgement in its finding that the government was responsible for the pastor's abduction.
The decision cannot compensate for the widow's grief but has brought a closure of sorts to the case.
The court judgement on the disappearance of the Amri Che Mat's case found the police had acted unconstitutionally and awarded the widow RM 3 Million for investigation failures is also welcome.
But the questions remain.
Why has no one been prosecuted for the enforced disappearances?
Is the government complicit?
Is Malaysia a lawless country?
What was the motive behind such dastardly acts?
Are Pastor Koh and Amre Che Mat still alive or dead?
These are pressing questions that need answers before there can be any real closure.
The culprits involved in the abductions and the people who authorised the acts need to be brought to justice and the government must answer too.
Ai ya ya!!
