OMG! 1 Shamelin TVG Cinema 3 sinks! The smell was so thick it was almost suffocating.
I wonder if they ever bothered to fumigate the place.
That was the worst cinema I have attended!
Add to that the kiasu sound system which was disconcertingly loud to say the least, and what have you left?
Gasping for your dear life when you are supposed to enjoy the movie.
But the Hokkien movie 'You Mean The World To Me' was better than I had expected.
I don't know about you, but watching the movie in Penang Hokkien surely made all the difference.
That is why I don't understand why some cinemas choose to screen the movie in Cantonese

The Kluang railway station coffee shop, now re-branded Kluang RailCoffee, is well known for its cuppa of coffee and the charcaol grilled piping hot buns oozing with butter and kaya...It used to attract standing-room only crowds. It still does, but the last time I was there it wasn't a good experience for me. The famous coffee had somewhat lost its oomph and even the buns...The shop has a long and noted history being first opened for business in 1938 and the place is now run by the 3rd generation LIm family.
